Meet Rudy

I’m Rudy Salgado, a Los Angeles photographer and videographer making images and films for artists, brands, events, and people.I move between the speed of a live show and the focus of a planned production. More than a decade behind the camera has taught me to look for the moment that makes each story feel like itself.01 / Live music & eventsI photograph concerts, festivals, dance, red carpets, and the moments around them. I’m an in-house photographer at Lodge Room and work with Dulce y Picante TV across photography, video, interviews, editing, and social content. Assignments have taken me from Los Angeles venues to Premios de la Radio in Mexico City and dance competitions across the U.S. and abroad.02 / Fashion & peopleMy fashion work spans runway, backstage, editorial, and portraits. I’ve worked around Los Angeles Fashion Week, OC Fashion Week, Vegan Fashion Week, and LA Swim Week, alongside designers, models, and production teams. Whether the setting is carefully built or unfolding in real time, I want the people in the frame to feel present.03 / Film & productionI film performances, interviews, recaps, and branded work, then carry that perspective into editing and color. For Founder’s Story, I filmed conversations featuring Tony Hawk and Gary Vaynerchuk.
